What the product does

Mudy Replies lets you connect your Instagram professional account (Business or Creator) and send one private reply when someone comments a keyword you chose on your own Reel or post, or writes you first in DMs or story replies. Connection uses Instagram Login on Meta’s official API. We do not collect Instagram passwords and we do not scrape Instagram.

Information we process

Account data from Instagram Login: professional account id, username, account type. Comment data needed to match a keyword: comment text, commenter id, media id. Message data you compose: the DM text, optional link buttons, optional public reply. Delivery logs: sent, skipped, or failed, with a reason. Mudy account data: email used to sign in.

Why we process it

To connect your Instagram account, match keywords on your own media, send the private reply you configured, show you a delivery log, and let you disconnect. We do not sell this data. We do not use it to message people who never engaged with your account.

Permissions

We request instagram_business_basic, instagram_business_manage_comments, and instagram_business_manage_messages. We do not request publishing, insights, or ads permissions for this product.

Retention

Tokens and campaign settings are kept while the Instagram account stays connected. Delivery logs are kept so you can audit sends. When you disconnect Instagram or delete your Mudy account, we stop using the token and delete or anonymize associated campaign data within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal reasons.

Sharing

Instagram / Meta receive the API calls required to read matching comments and send the private reply you configured. Hosting and email providers process data only to run the service. We do not sell personal information.

Your choices

Disconnect Instagram in product settings at any time. Request deletion via Data deletion or [email protected].

Children

The product is for operators 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
